Ion Conductivity of Nanocomposite Solid Polymer Electrolyte PEO-PVP-NaIO4 with Added TiO2 Nanoparticles

We studied the effect of titanium dioxide (TiO2)nanoparticles (NPs)on ion conductivity Na+ ion-conducting nanocomposite solid polymer electrolyte (NCSPE) composed polymers poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), sodium metaperiodate (NaIO4)at concentration 10 wt%, with added TiO2NPs average size ∼ nm at from 1 wt% to 5 wt%. The electrical response thin films (150μm) PEO/PVP/NaIO4/TiO2 was characterized by employing complex impedance spectroscopy. changes in properties examined NCSPEs induced included TiO2 NPs, were explained.
